Duties: (Essential Functions)
Responsible for basic upkeep of the station, including but not limited to painting, minor structural repairs, minor plumbing, cleaning, etc.
Coordinate ordering and deliveries of janitorial supplies.
Maintain paper supplies in restrooms and kitchens.
Monitor fire extinguishers and sprinkler system on a regular basis.
Advise Director of Technology of major repairs or maintenance needed.
Must have valid driver's license and be able to drive in order to deliver recyclables to appropriate locations.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Must climb ladders on occasion.
Any other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Technology.
Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls.
Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones
Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed
Remove debris and snow from sidewalks
Empty trash and recycling bins
Keeping an inventory of cleaning and repair supplies
Other Duties:
Comply with all Station and Department policies, procedures and guidelines
