WGHP/FOX 8 in High Point, North Carolina, serving the Piedmont Triad region (Greensboro–Winston-Salem–High Point), is looking for a Building and Grounds Maintenance person.

Duties: (Essential Functions)
- Responsible for basic upkeep of the station, including but not limited to painting, minor structural repairs, minor plumbing, cleaning, etc.
- Coordinate ordering and deliveries of janitorial supplies.
- Maintain paper supplies in restrooms and kitchens.
- Monitor fire extinguishers and sprinkler system on a regular basis.
- Advise Director of Technology of major repairs or maintenance needed.
- Must have valid driver's license and be able to drive in order to deliver recyclables to appropriate locations.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must climb ladders on occasion.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Technology.
- Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls.
- Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones
- Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed
- Remove debris and snow from sidewalks
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Keeping an inventory of cleaning and repair supplies
