As much as we love to deny it there is almost nothing more exciting than bumping into a big celeb right on your doorstep.
Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds are luckier in this respect than most, as we are blessed to be surrounded by gorgeous scenery and quaint little towns / villages - perfect for a big time celebrity to get away from the noise of the big cities and flashing cameras.
It was even revealed this month that we could be welcoming even more royalty to our beautiful corner of the world, in the form of the glamorous Princess Beatrice.
The granddaughter of the Queen has been in the spotlight a lot recently as the Royal Family social media accounts announced that she was pregnant with her first child with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
She will join her aunt Princess Anne, Zara and Mike Tindall and even future king Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall as they too boast a getaway home near Minchinhampton.
But it's not just royal blood you could spot if out on a little staycation in the area, there are also some of televisions (and Hollywood's) biggest name living just across your town border.
All the celebrities you could spot in Gloucestershire or the Cotswolds this summer:
The Beckhams
One off the Cotswold's most famous family are the Beckhams.

David and Victoria Beckham reportedly ditched the millionaire Miami lifestyle to return to the Cotswold's countryside with their children, including model son Brooklyn - although the latter has been spotted in LA this week with girlfriend Nicola Peltz, so maybe not him.
During the first lockdown the family regularly posted updates showing them working and home schooling from their Cotswold home.
Jamie Dornan
The Irish actor Jamie Dornan starred in 50 Shades of Grey as well as the BBC psychological thriller The Fall and ABC's Once Upon a Time.
In 2015, Dornan, his wife singer-songwriter Amelia Warner and young daughter Dulcie moved into a five bedroom, secluded mansion in the village of Chalford, near Stroud.

Eddie Redmayne
If you cast your mind back to 2016, The Theory of Everything star Eddie Redmayne was spotted with Jamie Dornan shopping in Bussage, Chalford near Stroud.
The news went wild on Twitter, with one fan saying: "I would've died on the spot!"
Jeremy Clarkson
Former Top Gear television presenter and motoring journalist Jeremy Clarkson lives in Chipping Norton.

In 2016, Jeremy was granted permission to demolish his home to make way for a new one.
Richard Hammond
Living on the Gloucestershire border, near Ledbury, with his wife Mindy and daughters, Izzy and Willow, Richard Hammond is best known for his for being one-third of the presenting team on BBC's Top Gear.
Richard E. Grant
The star of Withnail and I, Spice World and Gosford Park resides in the Cotswolds.
Nick Knowles
Host of DIY SOS, Nick Knowles lives near Cirencester and has been spotted among the shoppers at Gloucester Quays.
Recently he has been marred by rumours that he is in trouble with the BBC over his Shreddies advert.
Jilly Cooper
Known for her best-selling chick-lit romance novels, alongside her work in journalism and on non-fiction titles, author Jilly Cooper OBE lives in Bisley near Stroud.
Adam Henson
The Countryfile star owns Cotswold Farm Park in Guiting Power and has been spotted in the local pub The Hollow Bottom.
Julian Dunkerton and Jade Holland Cooper
Superdry boss Julian and fashion designer Jade can often be seen at a number of hotspots in Cheltenham - many of which they own - including 131 The Promenade and The Tavern.

Recently they were even joined by Idris Elba and his wife for a cocktail in the town.
Dom Joly
The comedian previously lived in Cirencester but now lives in Cheltenham and can often be seen walking his dogs in Pittville Park.
Love Island
Gloucester-based personal trainer Jordan Ring appeared in series one of the hit show.
Fellow season one star, Gloucestershire glamour model Jessica Hayes has previously been spotted at Cheltenham Festival along with former islander Katie Salmon.

Personal trainer Frankie Foster, who starred in season four of Love Island, works in Gym66 in Cheltenham and turned on the Christmas lights in Regent Arcade in 2019.
But perhaps the most well-known Love Island star residing in the Cotswolds is Chris Hughes who lives in the Cotswolds with his family and is a regular at Cheltenham Racecourse - although they have long since split, his ex girlfriend, former Little Mix member Jesy Nelson is believed to have visited the one time farmer at his Gloucestershire home.
Charlie and Daisy May Cooper
The hit BBC show This Country is based on a small village in the Cotswolds and the stars of the programme Daisy May and Charlie Cooper can often be spotted in their home town of Cirencester.
Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen
The interior designer is based near Cirencester and is known to be a fan of tailor Barrington Ayre which is based in the town so you may spot him wandering around.
The Royal Family
The Cotswolds is a firm favourite among a number of royals.
Just south of Tetbury, Highgrove House is the home of Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
Cousins Peter and Zara Tindall live at Gatcombe Park in Gloucestershire, as does Princess Anne.
Meanwhile, Camilla has been spotted at Cheltenham Festival along with Princess Anne and Zara Tindall.
Princess Anne lives in Gatcombe House in Gloucestershire too.
While Mike Tindall can occasionally be seen at Kingsholm Stadium supporting his old rugby club Gloucester Rugby.
Ellie Goulding
The mum-of-one has also recently shared news of the birth with husband Caspar Jopling of their baby boy in The Times.
It was previously reported that they shared a stunning Oxfordshire cottage, and the singer is known to have grown up in Ledbury, Herefordshire - where she studied at Hereford Sixth Form.
Keith Allen
The actor and father of singer Lily Allen and Game of Thrones star Alfie Allen lives near Stroud.
Lily - who used to live in Gloucestershire, was also spotted at Cheltenham Festival in 2019 so it is definitely worth keeping an eye out for the star.
Al Murray
Despite appearing in the Cotswolds as part of his stand-up performances, Al Murray can also be spotted dining out in the county.
The owners of award-winning Cheltenham restaurant Lumiere have said that the comedian likes to dine at the restaurant when he is in the area.
Richard Ashcroft
Many Gloucestershire folk have seen Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft who lived on May Hill.
The Gallagher brothers
This may come as a surprise but it would seem that the Oasis stars are fans of the Cotswolds.
Both Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher have been spotted out and about in the county in recent years.
Liam has visited The Canteen in Nailsworth and his brother Noel headed to Cheltenham for a spot of guitar shopping.
Simon Pegg and Tom Kerridge
Two Gloucester stars Simon Pegg and Tom Kerridge may be ones to look out for.
Tom's famous Matson sauce is based on his hometown while Simon says that the break dancing skills that he demonstrates in Shaun of the Dead were learnt from his time in Upton Saint Leonards.
Mary Berry
Another visitor to Cheltenham Racecourse, the queen of baking, Mary Berry, is one to watch out for in Gloucestershire.

Not only has she been seen at the Festival, but Mary stunned staff at a popular Cheltenham café when she popped in for lunch.
The British food writer and TV presenter visited Baker and Graze on Suffolk Road.
Liz Hurley
Actress Liz Hurley claims she was glad to leave her £9 million home in the celebrity-studded Cotswolds because the place was full of the kind of people she would normally "cross the road to avoid" .
The model sold her £9 million Gloucestershire home in 2015 and moved 40 miles down the road to the fringes of the Forest of Dean.
But she told The Oldie magazine that she is glad she left her 72 acre farm in the hamlet of Ampney Knowle, just outside Cirencester for the lesser known area between Dymock and Ledbury.
