Tired, perhaps, of the familiar glass buildings around New York City, developers are getting creative with custom-designed brickwork. Masonry is having a moment. Perhaps it's a symptom of glass tower fatigue, perhaps it can be attributed to a desire for a building material that has warmth and texture. Or maybe it's the hard pull of nostalgia. The median list price for single family homes in Holmes County is $157,300, based on homes listed in the past 12 months, according to the housing market report from Rocket Mortgage. Sarasota Herald-Tribune Neal Land & Neighborhoods has added Pulte Homes to its builders in North River Ranch, in Parrish, offering nearly a dozen floor plans. The launch of sales coincides with Centex nearing sellout in the same community. Centex was the first builder to launch sales at North River Ranch's Brightwood neighborhood. The builder has sold 190 of its 200 lots in the neighborhood to date. At the start of sales, the average Centex home at North River Ranch sold for $230,000.
