Where to go on holiday in March 2023 - Condé Nast Traveller

Temperature: 19°C high; 13°C low Season: spring Travel time from UK: 2 hours 35 minutes Time difference: GMT +1 Nothing brings a spring to the step quite like the sight of Italy's glorious Amalfi coast. Particularly in March, when its vertiginous twists are bathed in a daily average eight hours of sun. Cliffs plunge into the Tyrrhenian Sea, topped with grand palazzos and smart hotels. Narrow, Roman lanes are stuffed with limoncello stalls flogging the boozy spoils of Sorrento's famous fruit. Its snoozy air and pastel-coloured houses are pure Italian cinema: you might even swear you've seen a young Sophia Loren looking impossibly saucy by the quay. Do as the Italians do and spend the lazy, romantic days enjoying a long aperitivo . Don't miss fresh fritto misto at Marina Grande, the town's old fishing harbour, or Michelin-starred Il Buco in the cellars of an old monastery, where chef Peppe Aversa serves seasonal ingredients under a stone-hewn, vaulted ceiling. The Ronto Group announced that Robb & Stucky's Susan Bleda, ASID and Interior Designer Rachelle Porco are selecting the furnishings for the award-winning developer's 1402 move-in ready residence at its completed 27-floor, 120-unit Seaglass high-rise tower at Bonita Bay.  The 1402 residence is the second furnished move-in ready home now available at Seaglass.  A choice selection of unfurnished residences feature Ronto's developer close-out pricing ranging from $895,000 to $1,975,000.  Three open-concept Seaglass tower residence floor plans ranging from 2,889 to 3,421 square feet under air, luxurious finishes, common areas with a more contemporary, on-trend look, and an amenity rich lifestyle that includes membership opportunities at the award-winning Bonita Bay Club have redefined the high-rise living experience.  Total sales volume at Seaglass is now worth nearly $215 million.  The building is approaching sellout and homebuyers are encouraged to make their purchase decisions soon.

Priced at $1,895,000 with furnishings, the move-in ready 1402 residence offers 2,889 square feet under air plus 464 square feet of covered outdoor terrace space.  The three bedroom, three and a half bath residence features a private elevator foyer, an inner foyer and gallery hallway, an island kitchen, an elegant dining area, and a great room with a separate sitting area for enjoying spectacular sunset views.  A blissful, coastal interior design style includes a neutral color palette with soft blue, silver, and soft bronze accents.  Grey and white porcelain tile flooring has been cut to look like Carrara marble.

The private elevator lobby features a textured taupe finish accented with silver and light blue.  Bleda and Porco have included a geometrically shaped accent table with a wooden base in the elevator lobby.  An antique silver porthole mirror is set above the accent table.  A beautiful stained-glass chandelier conveys a coastal look.

The interior gallery hallway is graced by a sideboard finished in a subtle mix of blues that brings to mind the Gulf of Mexico at sunset.  An art piece has been hung above the sideboard.  A chandelier reflects the colors blue, black, and silver.

The island and perimeter cabinetry are finished in a dark taupy grey tone with stylish stainless-steel accents on the hardware.  The main seating area in the great room features an L-shaped sectional sofa with a soft neutral fabric and silver and sky-blue accent pillows.  The seating area also includes a rectangular cocktail table with acrylic legs and a glass top, a pair of sandy-toned wooden oval-shaped end tables with metal bases, and a silver-toned area rug with a subtle geometric pattern.  A long television credenza set against the great room's feature wall is finished in a sandy wood with metal strips on the front and metal door panels.  An embossed leather bar cabinet with a ivory-toned finish is set adjacent to a pair of chairs done in a light blue fabric with brushed nickel accents.  A glass-topped side table includes metal legs.

The dining area features a long rectangular table with two square acrylic ice sculpture bases.  The 102-inch long table is surrounded by elegant chairs with vanilla colored fabric and soft grey wooden legs.  The dining area's niche wall is finished with silver-toned textured wallpaper. A beautiful credenza with an olive finish and polished stainless-steel hardware is set in the niche.

The owner's bedroom opens to the Gulf-facing terrace and features a beautiful linen king-sized bed with a headboard that is approximately 91-inches tall.  The headboard's winter linen channeling pattern is dispersed darker grey wooden lines.  The bed is flanked by darker grey nightstands with a single drawer and an open shelf.  Rather than using a dresser, Bleda and Porco selected a diamond patterned cabinet with an ivory capiz shell finish and brushed nickel hardware.  A swivel chair in the bedroom's sitting area features an ivory textured fabric.  In the owner's bathroom, a double vanity is finished in a dark taupy grey tone that plays against the room's textured wallpaper that includes a subtle pattern.  The flooring, tub deck, and a massive shower are finished with the grey and white porcelain tile flooring cut to look like Carrara marble found throughout the residence.

One of the guest suites opens to an east-facing terrace.  The designers have furnished the suite to serve as both a guest bedroom and an office.  Furnishings include a dark grey writing desk with a bleached burl top, a cocktail ottoman bench with silver fabric and stainless-steel legs, and a pair of end tables with stone tops and metal legs.

The 1402 residence's Gulf-facing terrace includes a gas grill and a bar-height dining table with a bisque finished aluminum frame.  The counter stools have the same bisque frame and woven beechwood seats.  A seating area includes four swivel chairs and a cocktail table with a terrazzo finish.

The second Seaglass furnished move-in ready residence features furnishings selected by Robb & Stucky's Cynthia Bradford, Designer, ASID.  Priced at $1,845,000 with furnishings, the 905-tower residence floor plan offers a total of 3,353 square feet of living space with 2,889 square feet under air.  The plan includes a private elevator lobby, three bedrooms, three and a half baths, a large island kitchen, a nicely sized dining area, and a great room with magnificent long-range water and sunset views.  Bradford has created a study in one of the two guest bedrooms.  Ten-foot ceilings are featured, except where dropped.

Bradford furnished the 905 residence to create a modern beach house aesthetic.  The unit's neutral color palette includes beiges, creams, whites, and taupes that play against porcelain plank tile flooring with a wood look.  The palette is accented with sea glass tones and metals in gold and silver.  Textural elements are evident throughout the home.

The island kitchen's bright white cabinetry plays against quartz countertops finished in a cream tone.  A large-scale glass ocean backsplash in a wave pattern is finished in a white tone.  Charcoal leather barstools provide seating at the island.  The kitchen flows into the great room and dining area, both of which play to the amazing views that are a Seaglass hallmark.  Furnishings in the great room include a beige linen sectional sofa, a marble cocktail table, a large entertainment console with a white and grey sculpted wave pattern, and a pair of swivel chairs in a grey/taupe chenille fabric.  The dining area features a glass-topped table with a white stone base surrounded by grey wood chairs with grey linen fabric.  A buffet with a concrete look includes pale blue/grey glass doors.  An art piece is displayed above the buffet.

The living area and owner's bedroom both open to a beautiful covered terrace with forever views.  Bradford selected comfortable furnishings for the terrace, including a rectangular dining table with a ceramic top that seats six.  An outdoor chat space features four lounge chairs surrounding a circular granite cocktail table and stool.

A white linen sleeper sofa in the study provides additional sleeping space for guests.  A cream-toned leather cocktail ottoman is presented in front of the sofa.  A pair of dark wood tiered end tables feature silver accents.  Bradford also included a taupe, bird's eye maple writing desk with an acrylic and fur desk chair.
